My Husband (a.k.a Irog) |

Ron, or Wonald as I fondly call him, is really a man of few words and one of the most humble people I have met. I
have three words to describe Ronald: integrity, compassionate, and
multi-talented. He is a man of high morals and sound principles and he
always stands by them. He does not compromise; what is right is right and
what is wrong is wrong. He is always careful how he carries himself
because he knows that how he lives his life is the best example that he can giv Ronald is a very compassionate person. Even his old friends (during his single years) tell me how he helped everybody, giving rides to those who need one, and taking in his house those who need a place to stay. With his being compassionate comes a giving spirit. He would give to the point that he did not have anymore for himself. After we got married these attitudes he had did not change. I am so blessed about this because we are one in heart about being compassionate to people. I do not have to ask him anymore about helping people that I meet who need help either financially or a place to stay. For ten years now, our place, wherever we were stationed, has been open to anybody for a week to a few months, or even just to hang-out for a few hours. Wherever we are, people know who to turn to when they need help, even if they just need a prayer. Ron’s hands are really blessed. He plays the guitar, the keyboard, he sings at church, he does pantomime, he’s good in drama, he’s a handyman, he’s a very good computer programmer, and a very artistic interior decorator (our house is his showroom-every room from the living room, to the kitchen, to the family room, all the bedrooms, and even the bathrooms have a different theme design and everyone who has been to the house are amazed at his creations). I have to say that his talents are what got me attracted to him first. All the rest of the reasons why I married him followed afterwards. Everywhere he got stationed even when he was still single, he would look for a church because he wanted to grow stronger in the faith & he wanted to share his gifts. It was because of him that I came to be part of the music ministry at church after we got married. Now when he starts to play either the keyboard or the guitar, I start to sing alongside him. He recognizes that all his talents are from the Lord, so everything he does, He does for the Lord. And because he does everything for a sovereign God, he does them with excellence. As
you all can see, my hats are off to my husband. I always say that I am his
number one fan; that is before our daughter was born |
