Have you found your permanent home yet?  I’m not talking about your dream house where you’d find everything you could want in a home.  Even if you stayed there for the rest of your life that would still be temporary.  I’m talking about your eternal home.  Jesus said, “In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you."  So, where do you want live after this temporary place we call home.  Let’s face it, one day, this body of ours will give up and we will all face our Creator.  Question is, will you be welcomed to your new home with Him or will you be unwelcome and spend eternity in darkness.   If you’re thinking that perhaps your good works will outnumber your bad ones and that hopefully you’ll make it to heaven then you’re seriously in trouble.  The bible says that all our righteousness is like filthy rags in God’s sight.  It also says that we are saved by grace, through faith...  not by works, so that no one could boast.  That way everyone has a chance – from the model citizen to the worst criminal and everyone in between.
